Sports And Child Development Coach

SuperTots Sports Academy is actively hiring Youth Sports andDevelopment Coaches for our Montana Region.

Looking for a job where you can make a difference? Candidate is someone that can teach sports programs like soccer, baseball, basketball, football, and volleyball. Must thoroughly like working with 18 months through 5-year-old age group. A coach will be able to work independently and manage children in a class setting. Ideal part-time job with great hourly pay and awesome intrinsic rewards working with children.

Shift Schedule

We are currently looking for coaches who are available to work Tuesday afternoon, and Wednesdays/Thursdays during the day. If you are looking for work throughout the week as well, please let us know prior to your interview.

Program Overview:

Skyhawks Sports Academy is a franchisor of Child Development programs that uses a variety of fun games to delight and engage kids in physical activity. The curriculum is professionally designed to develop motor skills, promote physical fitness, and create self-confidence in young children. It stresses a non-competitive environment and promotes fun above all else. Successful candidate will be highly motivated, outgoing, patient, works well with kids ages 18 months to 5 years old in a class setting. Must be able to drive to multiple class locations in the Spokane area throughout the week, have excellent communication skills, and provide superior customer service.

Job Description:

~ Programming is held outdoors and indoors

~ Instructs for 1-4 hours per day.

~ Light administrative duties.

~Sports background helpful, but not the main consideration.

Job Responsibilities:

-Be a great communicator and work closely with your Program Director and fellow Coaches

-Assist with program planning and implementation

-Help setup equipment and prepare participant giveaways

-Lead instruction with a group of participants throughout the entirety of the program

-Cultivate positive camp/program environment for all participants

All staff are expected to commit to the full duration of assigned programs:

- You will be assigned to multiple classes that take place during afternoons, evenings and weekends typically once per week over four to eight weeks

Qualifications:

-A high-energy, enthusiastic demeanor

-Multi-sport background preferred

-Flexible, adaptable, and a good communicator

-Responsible and committed to following through on assignments

-Some experience working with kids (not required)

-Some experience coaching youth sports (not required)

-Some supervisory experience (not required)

-Desire to build experience developing youth and/or teaching sports

-A passion for and interest in developing leadership skills

-Reliable Source of Transportation
