Americourt Sport Surfaces, an equal opportunity employer, is looking to hire enthusiastic and hardworking sport construction laborer to assist in resurface and repair of playing surfaces, including but not limited to tennis, pickleball, basketball, and track surfaces, as well as operate various pieces of equipment.
As a sport construction laborer, you will perform installation and repair of sports surfaces and equipment both indoors and outdoors. Our work includes application of coatings and sports surfaces both indoors and outdoors. We construct athletic surfaces from the ground up and need all skill sets required to complete commercial construction. To ensure success as a sport construction laborer, you should be physically fit and be able to work long hours in all weather conditions. Weekend, night, and public holiday may be required as needed to meet project schedules and work around weather constraints.

Sport Surface Laborer Responsibilities:
- Installing and repairing sports surfaces and equipment.
- Constructing outdoor game surfaces including but not limited to tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, and tracks.
- Execute installation and delivery of sports related projects.
- Utilize hand and power tools such as squeegees, measuring tape, power drills, floor grinders/sanders, and pressure washers.
- Maintain a safe and clean worksite.
- Apply acrylic coatings for applicable surfaces.
- Install posts and nets.
- Paint game lines on tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts.
- Measuring and lining out the area for the day’s work.
- Shoveling material as needed.
- Maintaining cleanliness and packing equipment away at the end of the day.
Asphalt Laborer Requirements:
- Proficient with hand and power tools and equipment.
- Power washing experience is not required but a plus.
- Experience working on tennis courts and other Sport Surfaces by painting and resurfacing them.
- Experience in concrete forming and sealcoating preferred.
- Experience in construction (concrete finishing or squeegeeing a plus).
- Must be willing to work outside and lift heavy equipment and work long hours in the extreme weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs. without any reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Must be a dependable, flexible, and a reliable team player and have strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and able and willing to travel to off-site events, etc., as needed.
- Detail-oriented.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a drug test
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
