Sentinel Technologies is seeking an experienced Splunk Dashboard Engineer to join our dynamic team of IT professionals. As a Splunk Dashboard Engineer with hands on experience, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining Splunk dashboards to visualize and analyze data effectively. The Splunk Dashboard Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable dashboard designs. This role requires expertise in Splunk, including search query development, data visualization techniques, and dashboard customization. This is a remote position that must provide occasional support onsite at our Downers Grove, IL headquarters.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing Splunk environments
- Proven experience as a Splunk Dashboard Engineer or similar role
- Design and develop Splunk dashboards to meet business requirements and drive actionable insights
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams
- Set up effective monitoring and alerting systems within Splunk to proactively address issues and incidents
- Implement and manage security controls within the Splunk environment, ensuring adherence to compliance and best practices
- In-depth knowledge of Splunk Enterprise, including search query language (SPL) and dashboard creation.
- Integrate Splunk with other IT tools, systems, and data sources to provide a holistic view of data and enhance correlation and analysis capabilities
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
