JOB TYPE: PER-DM
Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and support to individuals and families facing challenging life situations
- Educate clients on coping mechanisms and strategies for emotional well-being
- Offer hospice care counseling to patients and their loved ones
- Provide bereavement support to individuals who have experienced loss
- Conduct crisis intervention sessions to address immediate emotional needs
- Manage conflicts and facilitate resolution among clients or within groups
- Write reports and maintain accurate records of counseling sessions
- Present educational materials and conduct workshops on mental health topics
- Demonstrate leadership skills in guiding clients towards positive outcomes
Experience:
- Previous experience in crisis management or counseling is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
- Ability to provide empathetic support and maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in conflict management techniques and problem-solving strategies
- Knowledge of various counseling theories and techniques
- Familiarity with community resources for referrals and additional support
