Friendly Connections, Inc. is hiring Speech Pathologists throughout all 21 counties of New Jersey. We are looking for happy, caring, and friendly individuals to join our team! Friendly Connections care for their employees as much as their clients.
Our Speech Pathologists provide services for disabled and elderly persons, and dementia patients.
Our goal is to provide the best quality services to each individual and family we serve throughout New Jersey. Each client has their own unique needs that our employees help fulfill in the comfort of the patient’s home. Every member of our team is an essential part to both Friendly Connections; and our patients long term success and happiness.
Job Details:
We are in need of Speech Pathologists in the following areas:
- Lodi, NJ
- Old Bridge, NJ
- Parlin, NJ
- Edison, NJ
- Vineland, NJ
- Jackson
Job Requirements:
- Masters Degree or equivalent from an accredited Speech Therapist Therapy program approved by the Commission of Higher Educations
- Valid and current Speech Therapy/Assistant License in the State of NJ (per N.J.A.C. 13:344k)
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- ASHA certified
- Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Preferred 1 year of working with the disabled population
- Flexible schedule
- Employee must comply with state regulations as necessary.
- Employee must cooperate with state regulations and NJ Department staff in any inspection or investigation.
- Pass state and federal background checks.

Hiring Process:
- Background check with the state
- Send you a code and a website to get you scheduled to get your fingerprints done. This can take a while to get an appointment so it is important to schedule this ASAP
- Drug test
- Basic paperwork, i.e. W4 Forms, HIPAA consent form, Background Check consent form, etc.

Work Location: On the road
We have services handled by our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in: Supported Employment, Pre-Vocational Training, Community Inclusion Services, Individual Supports, Career Planning, Community Based Supports (CBS), Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Physical Therapy; working with people with and without disabilities (such as autism) for adult individuals in the NJ DDD program.
We also offer traditional mental health / psychotherapy! (This is a separate service from the NJ DDD program).
