Job Description
Summary: The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. The SLP will develop individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.
2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations and assessments.
3. Provide therapy to individuals with various speech and language disorders.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
5. Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers.
Requirements and Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (preferred)
2. Valid License as a Speech Language Pathologist (required)
3. CPR Certification
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs at times.
