The Option 3 Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for administering speech/language and dysphagia diagnostic and treatment services to patients and maintaining appropriate records in a minimum of two of the following settings of care: Acute Therapy Services (Raleigh/Cary), Rehab Hospital and/or Outpatient Rehab. Position provides age specific direct patient care according to the department's scope of services and is responsible for observing and evaluating treatment effect and results and discussing them with the patient, family, team and management. Populations served include stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, other neurological issues as well as post-surgical orthopedics, multi-trauma and debility for both adults and pediatric populations.
This position is in the Therapy Services Supplemental Pool and has minimum shift availability requirements per calendar year.
