Position Overview:
Clever R-V School District is seeking a qualified and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to assess, identify, and provide intervention for students with speech and language disorders. The Speech-Language Pathologist will play a vital role in supporting the communication needs of our students, contributing to their overall success in the educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs for students with communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to address the unique needs of each student.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
- Collaborate with school staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Missouri State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
