Soliant Health Speech Language Pathologist
Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students? We are currently seeking a School-Based SLP to join our dynamic team for the uping school year. As a school-based SLP, you will play a crucial role in helping students overe speech and language challenges, fostering their munication skills and empowering them to succeed academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in elementary school students
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each student
- Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based techniques and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to develop and implement strategies to support students' speech and language goals within the classroom
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on speech and language goals and acmodations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports in pliance with state and federal regulations
- Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and engage in professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment techniques, and evidence-based interventions.
- Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and maintain accurate records
