We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Speech Department at Mark Their Words Therapy Services. The ideal candidate will have experience assessing and treating individuals with a wide range of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. This role requires a commitment to providing patient-centered care and a dedication to helping patients improve their communication abilities and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
- Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages, from children to the elderly.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists, physical therapists, and physicians, to provide holistic care.
- Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and coping mechanisms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to professional standards, ethics, and policies as set forth by state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain licensure). Clinical Fellows are welcomed!
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Clinical Fellows are welcomed!
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with electronic health records and documentation software.
