Key Responsibilities:
- This is an acute care position.
- The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for planning and administering medically prescribed treatment programs for the rehabilitation of speech, language, cognitive, and oral motor disorders.
- Counsels, educates, and instructs patients and their families regarding their speech-language pathology treatment.
- Demonstrates competency in rehabilitation procedures.
- Maintains accurate patient records.
- Speech Pathologist licensure (SLP), (CCCs must be completed)
- FL state SLP Lic (no CFYs)
- Masters Degree
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Shift: Full-time, Days.
