Soliant Health is currently seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for an immediate opportunity at a school district near Laplace, LA. This position is available from December 11th, 2023, to May 29th, 2024, requiring 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The selected candidate will work with a diverse caseload spanning from PreK to 12th grade, with approximately 30 to 40 students on the caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in both group and individual settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students' academic success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and attendance at Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology for SLP or relevant degree for SLPA.
- Active Louisiana license for SLP or SLPA.
- Previous experience working with a diverse caseload from PreK to 12th grade.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each student.
