Position DescriptionEASi is looking for talented, dedicated professionals who enjoy working with school-age children. You will work during the academic calendar with summers and holidays off. Duties include:
- Providing direct individual and group speech therapy to special education students in grades PreK-12th
- Consulting with fellow educators and families, as needed
- Working as part of the school Special Education team
- Documenting evaluations, goals, sessions, and progress for each student in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) as well as other federal, state, and school guidance
- Working with the IEP team to develop appropriate goals and classroom modifications.
- Administering and interpreting results from relevant assessment tools in accordance with current practices of School Speech-Language Pathology
- Minimum of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Must have licensed or be able to be licensed by the New Mexico Public Education Department as a Speech-Language Pathologist as well as licensed by the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Board.
- School experience is preferred, but not required.
