Position Details:
Title: Speech Language Pathologist for 2024-2025 School Year
Placement (location): District position (Office located at Shady Cove School)
Supervisor: Director of Special Services
Contract Days: 193/194 days per year, 8 hours per day
Salary Range: $61,732- $101,934 (depending upon approved previous experience and BA/MA)
Position Closing Date:To begin August 2024; screening to begin as soon as possible
Description:
Must hold a current Speech-Language Pathology License from the Oregon Board of Examiners or an Oregon Teaching License with Speech Impairment endorsement from the Teacher Standards & Practices Commission or the ability to obtain the same license before the start date. Must hold or be able to immediately get a valid Oregon Driver's License and personal transportation. Applicants who are bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply.

- Consultation
- Evaluation
A desire to collaborate with other educators and agencies, as well as the ability to maintain and adapt existing therapy to meet the ever-changing needs of our students, is required. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using various pedagogical and assessment tools, have a passion for educating ALL STUDENTS, and be willing to be involved in the school community beyond the classroom setting.
