Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions and evaluations (documentation is very light and quick < 5 minutes per session).
Demonstrating ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge by maintaining your Certificate of Clinical Competency and completing CEU's.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current Utah state license in Speech Language Pathology (DOPL).
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Will need to show proof of professional limited liability insurance; most of our contractors purchase this through Mercer for approximately $104 per year.
Working Conditions: The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a private practice individual office setting (South Jordan) that serves children with a variety of communication disorders and/or our secondary contract setting of a special-needs private school serving primarily preschool children (Draper) collaborating with additional therapy team providers.
Multiple Positions Needed: We can be flexible! Reach out to see if we can be a match for any of the following.
Additional part-time coverage needed for an SLP contractor taking maternity leave November - February.
Are you primarily a SAHM or an individual only wanting a few hours here and there? We could also use an SLP to be "on-call" for when other clinicians call out sick.
Most urgently in need of an SLP available on Mondays (10 AM - 4 PM) and Tuesdays ( ~ 10 AM - 3 PM) for the month of June for a vacation coverage. COULD BE GREAT FOR AN SLP THAT TYPICALLY WORKS IN THE SCHOOLS, BUT WOULD LIKE TO MAKE SOME EXTRA MONEY DURING THE SUMMER WITHOUT WORKING FULL-TIME. *May be able to change the Tuesday schedule to another week day for the month of June.
In need of an SLP to help alleviate our waitlist; we could accept new clients off of the waitlist/offer the clients appointments based off of your availability; the office in South Jordan has 24/7 access, so weekends or evenings could be an option based off of client interest. Receptionist is only in the office 9 AM - 3 PM Monday - Friday, but iPad kiosk check-in is available 24/7 for clients to alert you of their arrival to the office. This could also be perfect for an SLP working in the schools that is looking for additional income after school.
Pay: We offer competitive pay for the area with very little paperwork/documentation needed. Very relaxed!!! This position is for part-time work as an independent contractor.
Resume optional, but preferred. Require proof of C's when submitting application. You can work to get your DOPL and Professional Liability insurance in the coming weeks (before starting the contract) if needed.
