Job Description:
As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) , you will play a vital role in helping our students develop effective communication skills. You will primarily work with high school students three days a week and middle school students two days a week. This position is a contract role with competitive pay and guaranteed hours.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to implement therapy plans.
- Conduct speech and language assessments to support student development.
- Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Document and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other team members.
Requirements:
- Valid Georgia SLPA license.
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or related field.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
