Speech Language Pathologist

The Marshfield R-1 School District is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Speech Language Pathologist for the 2nd semester of the 2023-24 school year. Knowledge of the special education process and providing therapy services are required. Applicants must also hold appropriate certification and be able to bill Medicaid. The position may involve traveling between buildings.
This individual will create a flexible class environment favorable to learning and personal growth for students with a disability; establish effective rapport with pupils; motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed for life, in accordance with each pupil's ability; establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members.
This successful candidate must possess certification for the position as defined by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Benefits include board-paid health insurance and paid leave.
