The Speech Language Pathologist I will provide direct patient care for assessing and treating communication (i.e., speech/language), oral motor, and feeding/swallowing disorders: administering department and program functions; supervising maintaining documentation relative to services offered: and participation in intra and interdisciplinary training programs. This assignment provides temporary, intermittent employment opportunities to supplement the Clinical Fellow training experience.

Responsibilities
- *Individual must demonstrate competence across all age groups due to the diversity of the children and families served by KKI.
- *Clinical care focus is on the neonate, pediatric, and adolescent populations, as well as some adults with disabilities.
EDUCATION:
- Successful completion of a Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology, with related clinical requirements.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology granted by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
- Eligible for Maryland State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology.
EXPERIENCE:
- Must have completed at least six months of the Clinical Fellowship Year in speech -language pathology with experience in pediatric communication and feeding/swallowing and oral motor disorders.
- Additional course work or training in pediatric feeding/swallowing or communication disorders beneficial.
