We are currently seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our on-site learning munity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create a positive impact on the academic and personal development of students with diverse learning needs in a traditional classroom setting.

Full-Time: 23/24 SY ASAP May 31, 2024
Hours: 40 hours a week
$32 - $37/hour
Responsibilities:

• Utilize varied instructional techniques and resources to acmodate different learning styles within the classroom.
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Conduct assessments, track progress, and maintain accurate records of student performance and behavioral developments.
• municate effectively with parents, guardians, and external professionals to ensure support for students.

Requirements:

• Experience working with students with a background in Behavior needs.

• Proficiency in implementing diverse teaching methodologies and adaptive learning strategies.

• Must hold a valid NC Teaching certification, special education certificate with SPED general curriculum.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a diverse or inclusive classroom setting.
• Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive learning tools.
• Training in behavioral intervention techniques or positive behavior support.
