Role Description:
This is a full-time role for an Outside Sales Representative. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business in the Chicago, Illinois, and Wisconsin areas by identifying prospects, building relationships, and presenting the company's products and services to customers. The Outside Sales Representative will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing customers and providing excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will be able to bring business with them and hit the ground running. We are looking for an experienced individual who is knowledgeable in the metals industry and our market, who is self-motivated, and who has a drive to succeed. Base salary up to $85,000 annually plus commission on a small, established territory and new business brought in.
Qualifications:
- Sales Presentations and Communication Skills
- Relationship Building skills and Customer Service experience.
- New Business Development experience
- Ability to work independently and remotely, travelling to meet with customers.
- Ability to organize and execute sales strategies and customer prospecting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the metals industry strongly preferred, especially in the stainless steel and aluminum bar markets.
