Specialist, Security & Content Protection
This Specialist plays a key role in assisting the S&CP team in Burbank. The Specialist role is closely tied to our Events, Screenings, and Physical Security functions in Burbank. This position would also play a support role to the Security teams in New York, Georgia, and the UK. The Specialist role reports to the Manager, Security and Content Protection in Burbank.
Responsibilities:
Security/Facilities
Ensure Visitor/Entry Security Policies are being followed at the Burbank offices
Assist the Studio Lot Drive Ons and other access request processes
Supports the Crisis Management and Emergency Response program for Marvel Studios
Assist and execute corporate and production badging, access control programming, key management, visitor management, etc.
Assist with alarm monitoring and response at Studio facilities
Key liaison with Disney Facilities, Disney Security, Digital Studio, and Parking Management
Work closely with Marvel Studios Facilities team relating to the destruction of sensitive documents, security escorts for guests/vendors, Lot access reviews, and general office-related security functions
Support the Managers of S&CP with the review, assessment, and logging of inappropriate communications directed at Marvel Studios
Support the Managers of S&CP with investigative research tasks as requested
Support senior staff with the planning and execution of problematic terminations
Special Events & Screenings
Provide executive protection coverage for film talent and Marvel Studios executives as needed
Assists with Security and logistics for pre-release screenings, Premieres, special events, press junkets, Post-Production activities, etc. featuring Marvel Studios content.
Coordinate security logistics for VIPs visiting studio properties
Handles fans, press, paparazzi, etc. during public filming and appearances
Support event, medical, and pre-release screenings
Assist with Security and anti-piracy approvals for pre-release screenings
Production Security & Content Protection Responsibilities
Support the Manager of S&CP with West Coast production security needs when filming is occurring
Assist with Security and Content Protection training for production and crew
Assist with security design plans for temporary production locations
Provide support to local productions related to security badging, access control, and security signage
Work closely with Technical Operations and Production teams to support secure script reads, deliveries, and distributions
Assist with oversite for ADR/Scoring sessions
Enforce production Security and Content Protection policies on set related to mobile device use, photography, video, visitors, credentials, script handling, etc.
Requirements:
Experience in executive protection
Experience in anti-piracy protocols
Some travel is possible with this position
Must be flexible and work production hours in some situations
Some weekend and evening work may occur
Must be on-call/available (at least by phone or email) 24/7 for security emergencies
Some experience in Security, Facilities, and/or theatrical production

The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $57,900.00 to $77,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
