Specialist Outcomes Quality & Patient Safety (Ft/Days)

Job Description: The Outcomes Specialist plans, organizes, and implements Patient Safety and clinical quality process improvements. The Outcomes Specialist will assist with data collection through chart reviews and other methods; work with members of Performance Improvement Nurses Physicians and ancillary departments to identify opportunities for Patient Safety clinical outcomes and practice variation; and assist with driving improvements.

Qualifications/Education/Licensure: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred:  BSN.1 year of clinical experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with and influence leadership teams. Travel to Centra locations throughout central and south Virginia is required.  Valid Virginia driver license.
