JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Specialist for Paid Media & Organic Social Channels will be a key member of the Traffic & Sales Growth team, supporting Paid Media & owning Organic Social Channels, for both Denny's and the Denny's Virtual Brands. This individual will work closely with internal and external agencies to ensure that advertising programs are completed on time and on budget and will serve as the day-to-day project manager in these focus areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Key Responsibilities)
  • Leads day-to-day radio, digital display and paid/Organic Social development from inception to completion - including brief translation, work order development with messaging and specs, managing internal reviews, feedback to creatives and meeting recaps, production and trafficking
  • Proofs advertising assets, including items such as TV and radio spots, videos, digital display and social posts to ensure that creative is on brief, accurate, aligns with overarching campaigns, and meets established brand standards
  • Contributes to broadcast planning timelines, coordinates shoot and/or recording details and attends shoots and recordings as needed
  • Contributes to broadcast central spreadsheet, updating Ad-IDs and expiration dates
  • Contributes to agency and internal briefings with messaging calendar information and updated creative in a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Maintains awareness of monthly and quarterly financials for TV, Social, Digital programs.
  • Manages social brand monitoring, community management and serves as liaison with the Social Guest Services Team, informing them of upcoming promotions and marketing programs
  • Monitors digital and social media trends, new technologies, and competitive presence in order to contribute to campaign evolution and future campaign strategies
  • Works with internal teams and external agencies to track creative performance
  • Attends marketing meetings, as assigned
  • Manages other projects, as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising or related field preferred
Experience:
3-5 years of Marketing experience with some digital/social experience preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Prior ad agency or internal marketing department experience preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic digital and social campaign concepts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience developing and managing project timelines
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and to coordinate clear communication across diverse work groups
  • Very good oral and excellent written communication skills
