Summary:
Manage all aspects of CCSD Housing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assign and show available housing.
- Submit necessary paperwork to the Payroll Department.
- Prepare and process Lease Terminations.
- Maintain files on current and past tenants.
- Conduct periodic “Walk-Through” inspections.
- Mediate/ resolve interpersonal conflicts among the tenants.
- Address tenant-housing violations.
- Issue and approve work orders for repairs and maintenance.
- Track the status of current work orders.
- Generate yearly work order listing for individual units,
- Develop a Resident Advisor Committee
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor.
- Supervise housing maintenance staff.
- Interview and evaluate prospective employees.
- Maintain budget information.
- Comply with all Board of Education policies, administrative regulations, Public Education Department guidelines, and local, state and federal laws.
- Accept other responsibilities and suits assigned by the supervisor.
- Support district and school efforts to keep CCSD safe and secure.
- Compete and comply with all required training annually.
- Adhere to NM Code of Ethical Responsibility of the Education Profession (NMAC 6.60.9.8)
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Dine language, culture, and history preferred
- Good communication skills and customer service skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Word Excel and the internet
Physical/Job Requirements:
Standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying up to 50 pounds, climbing, bending, reaching, kneeling, driving a vehicle, traveling long distances, writing, typing, word processing, reading, researching information, and effective communication skills.
Safety and Health:
- Knowledge of universal hygiene precautions
- Completed and cleared background check
- Pass drug test if required for position
- Knowledge and compliance with district and school Safety Plans
Equipment/Material Handled:
- Multimedia equipment, including current technology
- Equipment/materials relevant to the job responsibilities
- Valid driver license and insurable by district if necessary
Work Environment:
- Must be able to work within various degrees of noise, temperature and air quality
