About the role:
CHANEL is looking for an Events and Animations Specialist to join our Fragrance and Beauty Retail Store Operations Team in New York. You will play a leading role in supporting the F&B Division in the planning and execution of Events and Animations in all points of distribution. In this support role you will be collaborating with Marketing, Retail Store Environment, Production, Creative, Account Development, Stand Alone Boutique Team, third party vendors, and our Field Sales Team. Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and a passion for operational logistics and efficiencies.
What impact you can create at CHANEL:
- Support in developing a strategy, framework, and corresponding action plan for the execution of event and animation initiatives
- Seamlessly execute events and animations efficiently and on time through accurate data management, trainings, status reports, and clear communications to key stakeholders
- Manage coordination and execution of all divisional kitting projects
- Oversee third party vendor(s) in management of event and animation programs and kitting projects
- Build relationships and continuously improve communication flow between internal teams, field community, and third-party vendors
- Collect feedback to enhance and evolve processes; track and document internal procedures with a focus on process improvement; communicating system and process changes to internal and external partners
- Influence the way we work by incorporating CHANEL approved tech components i.e., Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, Planner Boards, etc.
- Reduce our environmental impact by thinking long term on potential reuse and recycling opportunities

What you will bring to the team:
- Connecting the dots on problems, bringing a keen eye for details and expert problem perception
- Communicating clearly and succinctly
- Ability to listen to others and influence the ways we work
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects/programs simultaneously
- Retail Experience a plus
- Operational background preferred
- Experience with Smartsheet dynamic view preferred
Position Logistics:
- 1-3 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Hybrid roll based out of our New York City Corporate Offices
Compensation:
- The anticipated base salary range for this position is $58,200 through $90,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
