Open a new chapter of inspired care as a Special Procedures Technologist at UF Health Shands Hospital, a nationally recognized, 1,162-bed academic medical center located in beautiful Gainesville, Florida.
This full-time role will allow you to work closely with our radiology technologists and staff physicians for Special Procedures. The successful candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter who can reliably perform tasks, process direction with limited direction and assume a leadership role, when required.
Candidates must be licensed by Florida as a certified radiologic technologist. A current ARRT registration with a Vascular-Interventional Technology Certification (VITC) is required. Or you can obtain VITC within two years of employment with UF Health. ACLS certification is preferred, but if you’re not ACLS-certified, a BLS certification is required.
Our Special Procedure Technologists receive competitive compensation ranging between $28.48 and $35.54/hour (commensurate with experience), exceptional comprehensive benefits, tuition assistance and generous paid time off to allow them to explore and discover all that Florida has to offer.
