- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of various learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, and developmental disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
- Adapt instructional materials and teaching strategies to accommodate students' unique abilities and learning styles.
- Provide direct instruction in various subjects, focusing on academic, social, and behavioral goals.
- Utilize specialized teaching techniques and resources to promote student engagement and progress.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other members of the educational team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development activities to enhance teaching practices.
