Essential Functions:
Provide 1:1 educational tutoring, collaborate with patients’ IEP teams, and support mental health treatment in groups run by mental health clinicians.
Program Highlights:
- Support mental health treatment.
- Average census is 4 (2-6) patients.
- Ages 7-young adult
- Average length of stay is 5 weeks.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) – “What you will need”:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- License/Certifications: Maine Department of Education: Certification 282 – Teacher of Children with Disabilities.
- Experience: 1+ year of teaching experience.
