Special Education Teacher

We are hiring experience Special Education Teacher to work at our school in Chicago, IL-60607, for the current school year 2023-2024.

• Required Credentials:

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide instruction and support to students with disabilities in various subjects
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to instructional strategies
- Assess student performance and provide feedback on academic and behavioral goals
- Utilize assistive technology and specialized instructional techniques as needed
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Knowledge of Special Education laws and regulations
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
