Special Education Teacher

Minimum 1+ years Special Education experience required.

Position Overview: ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a passionate and qualified Virtual Special Education Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year in Lowell, OR. As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Conduct virtual assessments to determine students' strengths and areas for improvement.
• Provide virtual instruction and support in accordance with IEP goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with parents, other educators, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Use technology effectively to deliver engaging and interactive virtual lessons.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid Special Education teaching certification in the state of Oregon.
• Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong knowledge of virtual teaching platforms and technology.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
