The Paraprofessional completes paperwork, performs data entry, completes organizational tasks, and provides tutoring support and/or sign language interpretation to students in the specialized program. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, and completion of at least two years of College (48 units), or Associate degree (or higher) from an accredited state college, or Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction issued by an approved Local education agency. Experience working with students Experience working with low economic and at-risk populations Experience in the education of individuals with exceptional needs, student who are deaf or hard of hearing, or in the related Career Technical Education or Literacy content area Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Benefits: We are committed to providing quality and affordable benefits to our employees.
