Hours:Â 40 hours
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Professional Educator License with Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS I).
- Strong understanding of Special Education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with students with diverse needs and abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for high school students with special needs.
- Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning styles and abilities of your students.
- Collaborating with other teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide a holistic educational experience.
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, making necessary adjustments to instructional strategies.
- Providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.
