JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Spatial Information and Intelligence laboratory of College of Information Sciences and Technology seeks to fill part-time Research Support positions to join the lab.
Successful candidates will join one or more projects in visual analytics, social media analytics, speech-gesture interactions with immersive environment, and deep learning of point cloud data. We specially encourage applications from undergraduates and Master's degree students in IST, Computer Science, geography, Statistics, and psychology. The applicants should have working knowledge of one of the major languages (Python, C#, and/or Java/JavaScript). For more details, contact Dr. Guoray Cai at gxc26@psu.edu.
CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS:
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here.
