Spare Parts / Customer Service

Customer Service opening for a medical device manufacturer in Carlsbad. Must have experience with troubleshooting and maintaining Spare Parts. 

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8AM - 5PM

Compensation: $23/hr

POSITION:

Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for processing and recording all Spare Parts and system requests, meeting Spare Parts according to the company's SOPs while monitoring the correct inventory levels of Spare Parts. Also responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments of systems and Spare Parts. Answer phones, and follow up on calls, mailings, ordering office supplies and handling any general office support.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMIT TO:

• Records orders and schedules delivery of replacement parts and systems for Field Service Engineers, Sales, Distributors, and Customer Service
• Coordinates shipments of Spare Parts and systems internally and with carriers, both domestic and international
• Will help maintain inventory levels as forecasted by Operations and Manufacturing
• Assign, create, and track Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s) for returned parts according to SOP’s
• Maintain all tracking per SOPs of RMA and DOA, Gas Inventory Levels, and Cylinders
• Works with Domestic and International Field Service Groups
• Meets SLA goals
• Supports and backups the Office Manager and Service Coordinator

• Ability to learn technical material
• Communicate well with others on the status of inquiries
• Ability to work without daily direct supervision
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• Understanding of CRM systems
• Understanding of inventory systems
