Spanish Interpreter

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled On-Site Spanish Interpreter to join our team on a part time basis. Appointments are in Knox and Surrounding Counties. As a Spanish Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between Spanish-speaking individuals and English-speaking professionals in various settings. Your ability to accurately interpret and translate conversations will help ensure effective communication and provide essential support to clients and service providers.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation and translation services between Spanish and English languages.
- Assist in facilitating communication between Spanish-speaking individuals and English-speaking professionals, such as doctors, nurses, social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers.
- Interpret conversations during medical appointments, therapy sessions, meetings, interviews, and other interactions.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive information.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate interpretation and translation of complex concepts.
- Continuously develop language proficiency and cultural knowledge to enhance interpretation skills.

Qualifications:
- Fluency in both Spanish and English languages.

- Interpreting qualifications preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience as an interpreter or translator is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in various settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.

This position is part time and paid on 1099 basis.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
