Achieving Excellence

As a Nordic Spa Housekeeper, you are expected to exceed guest expectations by creating “picture perfect” guest experiences. You will achieve excellence by cleaning and maintaining the facility throughout your shift in addition to operating the pools, saunas, steams rooms, pool deck and outdoor areas for safe guest use.
Tasks & Responsibilites

  • Anticipate guests' needs and answer guest questions. Be ready to assist with guest needs throughout the day.
  • Ensure locker room amenities are in place and stocked (towels, robes, sandals, soaps, tissue, paper towels, cotton, styling products, brushes, etc.)
  • Delivering "picture perfect" spa public areas within agreed timelines requires hard work and attention to detail; ensuring locker rooms are stocked and pristine, garbage receptacles less, than half full and outdoor stations are always guest-ready and free of debris, trash and used towels.
  • Ensure towel station is fully stocked and prepared for day. This includes collecting laundry carts of clean linen, towels, and robes. Distribute to appropriate locations.
  • Develop a detailed knowledge of all Spa operations, procedures, chemicals and expectations.
  • Deep cleans all facilities and equipment on a daily basis.

Education & Experience

  • Previous Spa or Hospitality experience preferred.
  • First Aid Certificates (Including CPR) preferred.
  • Excellent guest service, communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to lift, move, and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
  • Passion for people & wellness.

Working Conditions
This position may work long days and/or weekends to meet periodic upturn in business demands or meet deadlines. This position is set in a fast-paced environment, with high levels of interaction with employees, guests and other stakeholders. Working outdoors in a variety of Mountain weather conditions, with average temperature ranges of -30 C/-22 F to +30 C / +86 F.

Physical Demands
The employee is regularly required to be on their feet, reaching with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Visual ability to observe employees in the workplace, analyze operations and detect situations of concern with regard to areas such as employee performance, grooming, training and policy adherence. Employee may be required to pass a functional capacity test developed for this job.

Work Environment
The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate.
