Job Title: Spa Concierge
Reports To: Spa Director
Summary: The Spa Concierge is responsible for the reception area at the spa and lounges. This includes all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products, and ensuring the lounge areas are stocked and cleaned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Properly open and close spa each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Accurately book, change, and cancel spa appointments.
- Provide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, facility features and hours of operation.
- Maintain the spa register though proper open, pre-close and close procedures, and communicate any discrepancies to management.
- Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and /or discounts available.
- Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked, and well-organized work area.
- Be on time for your shift.
- Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves spa facilities.
- Answer the phone promptly and use the guest’s name throughout the phone conversation.
- Maintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guests.
- Communicate to management all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
- Attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
- Utilize spa computers with skill and proficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.

Availability Open and operational seven days a week. Employees are required to be available to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.
License Requirements Valid driver’s license that has been in effect for at least three years, with no major violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three years.
Rules and Regulations All employees must adhere to all safety rules and regulations required by local, State and Federal authorities, wear the appropriate personal protective equipment necessary to perform the job in a safe manner and will follow all safety rules per the Company’s Safety Policy.
Language Skills Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus.
