We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Collaborating Physician based in South Carolina to work with our team of Nurse Practitioners (NPs) licensed in the state of South Carolina. You will provide medical oversight and collaboration to our NPs, ensuring the highest quality of patient care. This position offers flexibility as an hourly contractor or on a per NP per month basis.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners in accordance with South Carolina state laws and regulations.
• Provide medical oversight, guidance, and support to NPs in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
• Review and co-sign a percentage of charts as required by state regulations.
• Monitor and assess the quality of care provided by NPs.
• Maintain open and effective communication with Nurse Practitioners to address clinical questions and concerns.
• Stay informed about changes in state regulations affecting collaborative practice agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant state laws and regulations.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of collaborative activities.
• Complete any required documentation in accordance with state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of South Carolina.
• Board certification in a primary care or relevant specialty.
• Experience working collaboratively with advanced practice providers is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate and work as part of a healthcare team.
• In-depth knowledge of South Carolina state laws and regulations governing collaborative practice agreements.
• Dedication to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Commitment to continuous quality improvement.

Contract Terms:

• Hourly Contractor: Compensation will be based on an hourly rate, with flexible scheduling.
• Per NP Per Month: Compensation will be negotiated on a per NP per month basis.
