Summary/Objective
A Warehouse tech is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock, and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels.
Essential Functions
Ensure field crews have material ready for their scheduled assignments.
Loads and/or unloads equipment/materials while it is being received or when it is being shipped.
Record materials and/or equipment entering and leaving the warehouse. Confirm that orders are accurate.
Keep warehouse, yard, parking lot and surrounding area is clear of trash and debris.
As required, pick up equipment/materials from customer locations.
Assist with product assembly, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Competencies
Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical equipment
Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must have good record-keeping skills and be detail oriented.
Good oral and written communication skills.

Travel
Up to 10% travel based on company need to and from warehouses, within schedule working hours.
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
2 years of warehouse experience
