Position Summary: The Sound Tech will have extensive knowledge of live entertainment with a strong musical ear and ability to achieve the desired sound for each type of music and/or theater being produced in a luxury seven hundred seat dinner theater.

Minimum 2-3 years' experience running live sound with digital systems
Minimum 2 years' experience programming digital sound boards including Yamaha boards.
Education:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Sound, AV, Theatre Technology, Technical, Design, Video or like field preferred
Essential Functions:
Specific sound and vision abilities required by this job include discernment of vocal parts, pitch, harmonies, lead, etc. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands dexterously and talk and hear. The employee is required to climb and descend stairs, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on their own. This position requires continuous ability to remember information and verbally communicate clearly.

Position Responsibilities:
- * MIxing and programming for live vocals, instrumentals, speaking, vocal and instrumental tracks and special effects using a Yamaha CL5.
- * Taking the lead for setups and tear downs of one-off concerts
- *Manage and maintain all systems including wireless mics, wireless in-ears, speakers, amps, etc. including in-house repairs if possible, shipping to repair companies or replacement acquisition.
- *Being present for rehearsals as needed and all shows.
- *Assist in the programming of show control
- *Daily precheck of all systems
- *Set up operate a system-wide cleaning schedule, keeping all equipment in perfect working condition
- *Recommend equipment and software upgrades as needed
Position Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years' experience running live sound with digital systems
Minimum 2 years' experience programming digital sound boards including Yamaha boards.
- Experience with show control software such as Qlab a definite plus.
- Experience in minor system repairs including soldering a definite plus.
- Computer and internet research skills with specific knowledge of Word, Excel, and calendar programs
- Work with integrity, ethics, and honesty. Clearly distinguishes between right and wrong.
