Job Description:
Creates and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and other procedural documents.
Responsibilities:
- Create SOP’s / Work Instructions.
- Take photos and documentation of process.
- Use our template to create a simple and straightforward document.
- Proofread and correct new and existing documents for errors.
- Works with management to verify process accuracy and document approval.
- Maintains document revision control.
- Collect Data.
- Time Studies (gather data on length of time required to complete SOP’s.)
- Create average process time for job function (add data to SOP.)
- Identify wasted steps or time in process to increase efficiency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be organized.
- Must be familiar and proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to use a camera, upload documents.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in production environment.
- Ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in all written documents.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with hourly employees and management.
