Weekender Program-Nights
(.9) FTE : 2 x 12 hour and 1.5 x 8 hour
Hours:
- 7pm to 7am, Friday-Saturday or Saturday-Sunday and one and a half Weekday
- Minimum of 24-32 hours per week
- 12-hr weekender coverage additional $10 per hour on top of hourly rate
- Additional 8-hr coverage for the weekdays @ regular rate of pay
About the Job
This position is a new role which will provide weekend coverage. The Weekender position is 64 hours per pay period or 32 per week.
In this role the Sonographer II under the general supervision of an attending radiologist, and in accordance with department protocols, the ultra-sonographer utilizes high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques to produce and evaluate ultrasound images and related data which is used by physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis resulting in quality patient care.
Here is what you'll need
Required:
- Associate Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
- Specific Degree(s): AMA approved Sonography program
- Less than one year of previous job-related experience
Licensure/Certifications
Required:
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) by American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
Preferred:
Other:
- Registration within one year of hire, in a minimum of one to two specialties of either Abdomen and/or Obstetrics & Gynecology required.
- Registration in both Abdomen and Obstetrics & Gynecology preferred.
