Location Description
Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities
The Solution/Integration Architect drives and coordinates the technical execution of enterprise cloud and integration services that includes solution design, integration architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing operational support. The Solution/Integration Architect will assist in project execution and engage directly with project technical staff. The Solution/Integration Architect will be expected to work in a matrixed environment integrating market-leading enterprise application solutions in a hybrid cloud environment.
WORKING LOCATION: Hybrid
This role is located at the Lakeville, MN Corporate office
Typical hybrid schedule includes 3 days in-office with remote flexibility up to 2 days a week.
The successful candidate will demonstrate competencies and capabilities in the following areas:
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing and cloud-based architectures, especially the benefits and challenges of integrating applications across different platforms and providers
  • Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying cloud integration solutions using various tools and technologies
  • Knowledge of best practices and standards for cloud integration, such as security, scalability, performance, reliability, and governance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical specifications and explaining complex integration solutions in simple terms
  • Skills in troubleshooting and resolving integration issues, monitoring, and optimizing integration performance, and ensuring compliance with SLAs and policies
  • Passion for learning new technologies and exploring innovative ways to integrate applications and data sources

JOB ACTIVITIES
  • Promote team use of design principles and guidelines, reference architectures, integration technologies, standards and reusable assets that meet security, compliance, and business requirements
  • Assist technical delivery teams with adoption and implementation of best practices using modern design tools and automation to achieve data migration and integration in support of major projects and integration initiatives
  • Collaborate with other roles on PCB project teams to ensure optimal integration of solution architectures and design for IT projects
  • Develop and maintain integration reference architectures based on proven integration patterns to ensure loosely coupled and resilient integration
  • Drive and coordinate the technical execution of shared enterprise integration services
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of integration architecture efforts and recommend processes and technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and integration capabilities
  • Provide architecture thought leadership for highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains
  • Identify ways to increase employee knowledge and skills to support future growth. Train/Re-train team members on integration concepts and technology as it evolves, including upgrades, changes in potential design, architecture etc.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITY
Work Structure:
The role reports to the Sr. Director - Enterprise Architecture, which is responsible to oversee the development of strategic systems strategy and IT architecture (strategic blueprints, roadmaps, migration, application, standards and methods for Business, Application, Information and Technical Architecture) to achieve business, strategic and tactical plans for Post Consumer Brands.
Qualifications
Education:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required, Computer Science or MIS concentration preferred
Experience:
  • Full life-cycle experience with architecture, analysis, design, and promotion of Enterprise Application Integration solutions
  • 10+ years hands on experience with design, development, implementing and supporting complex system integrations on middleware tools and technologies
  • 5 + years technical leadership experience to guide existing project technical teams
  • Deep knowledge and solid understanding of different integration patterns
  • Development experience with REST and SOAP web services, APIs and integrating them in workflows
  • Experience working with and manipulating XML/JSON, and flat file documents using JavaScript and/or Java
  • Familiarity with canonical data model and API specification frameworks like OAGIS or OpenAPI/Swagger
  • Azure Cloud experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of DevOps, IT governance and operations
  • Experience working with enterprise solutions is preferred (e.g., Oracle, JD Edwards, HighJump, GE Proficy, E2Open TMS, High Radius, Rapid Response, Selerant, etc.)
  • Manufacturing/CPG experience is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn and use modeling languages and techniques including Entity Relationship Diagrams, Unified Modeling Language, Process Maps, Value Stream Maps
