- Knowledge of Managed and Professional services within the Public Sector space
- Knowledge of requirements gathering and creating project budgets
- Ability to efficiently manage competing priorities
- Superb verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong negotiation skills
- Translates client business and technical requirements into an accurate Statement of Work which includes opportunity summary, task lists, client responsibilities, project specific assumptions, out of scope items, pricing, including resources and billing structure.
- Collaborates with sales and Subject Matter Experts to create consistent, clear, professional content. Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) which may include System Engineers, Solution Architects, OEMs, or partners.
- Obtains all necessary contract approvals.
- Participates in responding to RFI/RFPs
- Actively tracks current opportunities and forecasts upcoming business accurately
- Maintains the client relationship and keeps the client and stakeholders engaged in the sales process
- Consistently and effectively communicates Connection's value proposition to client stakeholders.
