The Role
We are currently seeking a hands-on leader to support building, managing, and expanding the Digital & Data Solutions practice at ZAETHER. As a member of the Digital Transformation team, you will join the mission to provide innovative first-in-kind data solutions that enhance the value of ZAETHER offerings and enable greater levels of customer adoption and outcomes.
As a Solution Architect for Digital & Data Solutions responsible to identify and launch new products, services, and data models and work with the organization daily to ensure that we are sales and operationally ready to deliver.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the development of Digital data solutions offerings for both internal and external projects
- Proactively identify and manage risks, resolve issues, and escalate where appropriate to drive successful customer and business outcomes.
- Provide the solutions by designing & architecture the various Digital and Data solutions, requirements gathering, leading the customer workshops and Front-End Engineering Design, and short-term and long-term roadmap development in both traditional waterfall and agile methodology.
- Evaluate and build industry-specific use cases and business opportunities to expand the Digital, Data & Analytics portfolio of agnostic platforms for various Life Science and Pharma customers
- Lead consulting engagements and deliver solutions around end-to-end unified data Integrations between OT and IT for digital manufacturing systems including but not limited to Process Control Systems (DeltaV, Ignition..etc), Data Historian(Aveva PI, AspenTech IP21, Inmation, Canary..etc), MES systems (Syncade, Werum PAS-X,..etc) Data Integration platforms (Inmation, Highbyte, Libre. etc) and cloud data Solutions (Ex: AWS).
- Consolidate and document leading practices, policies, and procedures to drive continuous improvement of implementation methodologies aimed at delivering maximum value to clients; Partner with leaders from ZAETHER Industry-based Customer Success Teams (Sales and Engineering) to incorporate leading practices into our portfolio of products/platforms.
- Stay aligned with current developments on general business, industry, and technical issues and challenges. Use a variety of resources to learn about business developments and technical innovations happening in the manufacturing intelligence, data integration, IIOT, and AI/ML spaces.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience as the client-facing leader responsible for delivering data solutions.
- Knowledge of how all the pieces fit together - development, marketing, sales, customer success, etc.
- Self-Starter, must be comfortable in an environment where limited support or information may be available, along with the ability to navigate seamlessly between setting a strategy and executing/implementing
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills within and across work functions as well as with superiors
- Ability to work independently. Organized and able to multi-task
- Bachelor’s Degree required or Ten (10)+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with cGMP and manufacturing operations and practices.
- Life Science/Pharma industry experience with Five (5)+ years in Manufacturing Automation systems like MES (Syncade, Tulip, etc), PCS/DCS (DeltaV, Ignition, etc), integration Protocols (OPC protocols, MQTT, WebAPI)
- Understanding of time-series data historian systems is preferred (OSIsoft PI, AspenTech IP.21, etc.)
- Understanding of AWS data solutions is preferred
- Understanding of Computer systems validation practices (GAMP)
- Travel Requirements: Up to 25% local New England travel, depending on the needs of the organization.
