What to expect:
We are seeking experienced Soldering Technicians to join our team working the first shift (10 hours, full time, OT approved) for 3+ months. The Soldering Technician will apply expert hand soldering techniques for PCBA soldering, including both Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and through-hole components.
What you'll do:
- Perform expert-level soldering on PCBA components, including SMT and through-hole soldering
- Execute soldering rework as needed
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as J Standard or IPC
- Conduct lead trimming and mechanical assembly as necessary
- Perform quality checks to meet workmanship standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve soldering-related issues
What you'll need:
- At least 1 year of experience in PCBA soldering
- Certification in J Standard or IPC applicable standards is preferred but not required
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate operational knowledge
- Intermediate influence and data modeling and manipulation knowledge
- Manufacturing and workmanship standard knowledge
- Innovation and customer focus
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be a US Citizen
