Responsibilities:
- Perform soldering tasks with precision and attention to detail, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Assemble, modify, and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to schematics and technical drawings.
- Utilize wiring harness creation skills to assemble and install electrical components accurately.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to soldering, PCB assembly, and wiring harnesses.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure quality and efficiency in production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Document work processes, procedures, and any modifications made during assembly and soldering tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Soldering Technician, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in soldering techniques, including surface-mount and through-hole soldering.
- Strong understanding of PCB assembly processes, components, and soldering materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Experience in creating and assembling wiring harnesses for electronic systems.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and precision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in soldering techniques and PCB assembly.
- Familiarity with electronic testing equipment and tools.
- Experience working with CAD software for schematic design and layout.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electronics manufacturing.
