Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Solder Assembly Technician to join our team.
As a Solder Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our electronic assemblies meet the highest industry standards, specifically adhering to IPC-A-610A criteria. You will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, where your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality are essential. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Soldering: Perform soldering and assembly of electronic components, connectors, and PCBs according to IPC-A-610A requirements.
  • Conduct visual inspections to verify that soldered assemblies meet the specified standards and are free of defects. Document and report any non-conformities.
  • Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of soldering equipment and tools. Report any issues promptly.
  • Accurately identify and handle various electronic components, ensuring correct placement and orientation during assembly.
  • Complete work orders, inspection reports, and maintain records of all soldering and assembly activities.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to resolve any technical issues and implement process improvements.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with soldering equipment and materials.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in soldering and electronic assembly, with a strong understanding of IPC-A-610A standards.
  • Knowledge of electronic components and their handling requirements.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Good manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Familiarity with soldering equipment and tools.
  • IPC-A-610A certification is a plus.
