Solar Operations Manager

Position Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing installation crews, as well as scheduling and coordinating commercial and residential solar installation projects. $65,000-80,000/year plus benefits and incentive pay.

Essential Duties:

· Visits job sites to ensure work is being performed to code and quality standards are adhered to.

· Collaborates with the design team to ensure solar designs meet the company and industry standards.

· Directs commercial and residential solar projects including sites surveys, reviewing projects, installation and final checklist to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.

· Reviews installation work on a daily basis to ensure deadlines are being met and installs are done according to company and industry standards.

· Ensure installations are done with a quality of work.

· Confirms procurement of materials listed in Bill of Material and schedules the customer’s final install date.

· Closes out all required reporting on projects including roof complete, pictures and set up account in Enlighten.

· Keeps project database up to date.

· Responsible for the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training and retention of the operations team in partnership with Human Resources and Operations.

· All other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:

· Bachelors degree in Business, Construction Management, Project Management or equivalent experience.

· 5+ years’ management experience construction industry, preferably in the solar industry

· Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
