Founded in May 2019 in the state of Illinois by Joseph O’Keefe, Revolution Solar set out to become a leading solar energy provider. Little did they know they’d be embarking on their journey in the middle of a pandemic. Joe founded Revolution Solar because he believed the Solar Industry lacked the quality and leadership its clients deserve. It became his top priority to provide thorough training to our employees, emphasizing on ensuring the installations are of high quality and efficiency.

The Leadership Team took their experience from several large solar companies to trailblaze a new way of doing things. At Revolution Solar, we understand that the field personnel are often taken advantage of. We believe in creating a culture of mutual respect in an effort to help create long term success for our employees, customers, and the company as a whole. Our goal to lead a solar company built on the foundation of integrity led to the company joining forces with USA Clean Energy Association (a solar sales company) in 2022.

Job Summary:

Revolution Solar is seeking experienced solar installation technicians to join our rapidly growing company. We hire at 4 different levels depending on experience.

• Installer I. This is for trainees with no solar experience. This requires good overall tool knowledge and some construction experience. Trainees have 90 days as an installer one and must qualify as an installer 2 within the first 90 days. $20 to $25 per hour.
• Installer II. This is for experienced Solar Installers that have good general knowledge of the overall install process. This position offers incentive pay for safety and quality of work. $27.00+ per hour depending on experience.

• This is residential rooftop solar. We work year round in all types of weather.
• To qualify for this opportunity you must have no fear of heights, have a valid driver's license with no major violations in the last 3 years, be able to follow all safety guidelines, a working knowledge of tools and be willing and able to work in extreme temperatures.
• While solar experience is a huge plus it is not required. The higher end of the pay ranges are for solar experienced Installers. Within 90 days, Installer I must show they understand how solar works and be able to perform wire management, micro inverter & optimizer installation, racking assembly, and module installation.
• Roofing, HVAC, Iron Workers, Satellite and cable installers are good skills to have for this role. If you have construction related experience, enjoy working with tools and show up for work everyday we would like to speak with you.
• You will be working as a member of a team so its important to get along with others.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required in this role.
